As one of the oldest manufacturers of driving chains around Europe JSC DITTON Driving Chain Factory continues traditions of Daugavpils Driving Chain plant, which was founded in 1949, in Latvia. Since 2001, STROPA Ltd. is an authorised representative of the factory in Russia, and thus possess an exclusive right for distribution of goods produced the factory at especially advantageous prices. In 2015, the factory joined EMEA Power Transmission Distributors Association (EPTDA).

The fabric of driving chains METEOR Kettenfabrik Ltd. takes its origin since 1898 from a small metallic products workshop in Barchfeld (Germany), which step by step grew into a independent plant as a part of Industrial Association for Vehicle Construction IFA Kombinat. Later in 1996, at the premises of the plant was established the fabric of driving chains and split as METEOR Kettenfabrik Ltd. with the trademark METEOR. |
